I don't remember exactly when it was, but back when I had a roommate, in 1999 or before, I purchased a box of 200 garbage bags from Costco. I know it's been at least that long because, as I said, I had a roommate at the time, and I got custody of cleaning supplies when we moved out. Well, today I installed the last two bags in the waste containers in my kitchen and bathroom. Five years. 200 bags. I'm not sure what it says about my tidiness that I've used maybe three bags a month, but to be fair, I recycle a lot.

I was 26 or younger when I bought them. I'm throwing paper towles and used syringes into the last vestiges of my youth.
